For the 2015-2016 academic year, RMU seeks faculty candidates in the following academic discipline:

 

Lecturer - Communication

 

RMU’s Communication Department is seeking a full-time Lecturer to primarily teach core courses in the undergraduate Communication degree and in sports communication, one of the degree’s specializations. The successful candidate will teach courses on ground and online and may advise students and participate in departmental-level service. 

 

A Master’s degree in the discipline or related area is required. Previous university teaching and industry experience are preferred.

Lecturer - Computer and Information Systems

 

RMU’s Computer and Information Systems Department is seeking a full-time Lecturer to primarily teach undergraduate introductory-level courses. The department offers four undergraduate (two programs are ABET-CAC accredited) and five graduate programs. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach courses on ground and online in several areas, including programming and decision support. The position may advise students and participate in departmental-level service.

 

Candidates must have a Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Management Information Systems, Information Systems, or Computer Information Systems.  A terminal degree, previous university teaching and some practical experience in computer information systems are preferred.
