Faculty - School of Nursing and Health Sciences

For 2014-15, RMU seeks faculty candidates who will exemplify the teacher-scholar model in the following academic disciplines.

Assistant/Associate Professor - Nursing.  Faculty position (9-month) to teach in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program. Applicant must have a master’s degree in nursing with an earned doctorate in nursing or related field; national nurse practitioner certification; university teaching experience; recent practice as a nurse practitioner and current PA license or eligibility for RN licensure in PA.

Assistant/Associate Professor - Nursing.   Two faculty positions (9-month) to coordinate and teach in the BSN and MSN program. Applicant must have master’s degree in nursing with an earned doctorate preferred in nursing or related field; experience in university teaching experience, teaching adult student populations, web-based, online and other non-traditional learning environments, and current PA license or eligibility for RN licensure in PA.

Assistant/Associate Professor - Health Services Administration Program. Faculty position (12-month) to teach in the graduate Health Services Administration program. Applicants must have an earned doctorate or be near completion. Applicants should have previous university online teaching experience in a health care service program. General assistance in program planning, and student recruitment and retention is preferred.
