An internal applicant is a current full-time or regular part-time employee (benefits eligible) who has five months in their current position. Internal applicants are required to notify their immediate supervisor of their expressed interest in a position.

The most qualified candidates are contacted for interviews. Resumes are kept on file for eighteen months for candidates who are not contacted for interviews.
